Crime and Punishment Revision Pack - Edexcel

Hello, I have created… A double sided key knowledge revision sheet with all the key subject knowledge for each section of the topic. A Personal Learning Checklist A3 Revision Worksheet to accompany the Key Knowledge Sheet and PLC. My students have found this really useful, especially having all the quotes in one place. I have been using the pack in lessons for the lead up to PPEs and will use for sessions before the real exam. Knowledge is based on the textbook written by Waqar Ahmad Ahmedi - Spec B. I hope you find this useful. Mel

KS3 How did faith begin? Scheme of Learning

Hello fellow teachers! I am Head of RS at a secondary school without a religious character. I have found that many of the year 7s have little understanding of the six world faiths and non-religious views. As a solution I have developed a scheme of learning with a booklet and Powerpoints to introduce the origin stories of the six world religions, Paganism and atheism with a focus on Humanists UK. Please remember that these resources have been created for a majority non-religious student group and for non-specialist staff to use across my school. You may need to tweak certain parts so they are relevant to your own student body

Hello, This lesson is designed for topic 1 ‘Christian Beliefs’, Edexcel Spec B GCSE ‘Religion and Ethics Through Christianity’. It is a new improved version for 2024 and includes the presentation slides and information sheet. The knowledge is taken from the Edexcel endorsed textbook written by Reid and Tyler (2016) but it is not needed for these lessons. All lessons include Do Now activity, learning objectives, progress checks, tasks with feedback, exam questions, reference to scripture and denominations if applicable. I have a proven track record for helping students to achieve excellent GCSE results and I believe that my lesson planning has a significant part to play in this. If you have any questions please do ask. Mel
